Help how to sync music i already have to my palm pre plus?

I have a Palm Pre Plus and i am using window media player and i have synced some music but some of it say it is already on the phone but my phone says i only have 93 songs. So i guess what i am asking is what am i doing wrong or are they on my phone and i have to recover them some how. And just the be clear i am talking about whole songs not ring tones that i have figured out.
