HELP!!!How can I copy a movie from a CD to DVD??

So i made thes movie with pics, videos and song in Windows Movie Maker...so now I've being trying to save it in a DVD so I can play it in a DVD Player...and when I put the BLANK DVD to star copying it my laptop kept saying that there was no CD found...so I put a BLANK CD in and it worked and I can play the movie but only on the computer and not in the dvd player....SO! I want to being able to copy the movie from the CD to the DVD so I can play it in the dvd player...how can I do this?????

p.s. I have Nero StartSmart but I didn't find the option to being able to do this...
help please!!!!
