Help getting rid of "brown spots"

I've got several brown spots...post acne pigmentation...on my forehead. I REALLY would like to get rid of these things. Please share any advice on products that have helped you with this problem. It could be home made stuff, things from the drug store, or even prescribed things (I see a dermatologist so I could ask him). Thanks!
 
I use a prescription cream called Tri-Luma. It works great for my dark marks. Don't use it on a regular basis though because it makes your skin peel. The first couple of days your brown marks will peel then they will start to fade. My skin was dramatically lighter in about 1-2 weeks.
