Help! getting no calls, no texts (6800)

sprint ppc 6800, just finished trying to get SMS, and now im unable to send or recieve calls, or texts. any help is appreciated.

The first thing i can think of is your PRL that you are using. If that is correct then Voice and text should automatically work.

Try 1040 PRL and then OTA to get your market specific PRL.
 
n00b here, where do i go to adjust my prl?

again nevermind, lol found everything i needed. thanx. and have a good one, now if i can just figure out why my passowrd for WAP dosent save to what i type in.
 
The password for WAP=cricket

What is the error it is giving you? can you even connect at all?

*check your EPST settings and look at MIP Settings and make sure
MIP Mode=Simple IP only
 
all my settings are in check, simple ip, good to go.. when i pt in my cricket password for wap. its kool. but when i got into start/settings/connections/connections/manage existing connections, and set up my modem connection, i will type in ten digit #@mycricket.com, then enter cricket for PW, but when i save and go back.. something else is in the password section, a longer password than what i initially entered.

PS oh by the way, the error i get is , could not locate remote server. oh and another little tidbit of info, i folowed a guide on how to set up Wap, and when i finally got it done couldnt make any calls, went ota had a reprog, then noticed my MSID changed from my nuraber to another nuraber. is that right? im able to make calls with the new nuraber. i dont know maybe im blathering on like a monkey in a tree. if ya make sense of what i just said lemme know. lol
 
Okay about the password being longer thats how its suppose to be so no worries on that.

Start\Settings\Connections\Connections Under the General Tab Enter Cricket. Under the Modem Tab put in Cricket Mobile Web select modem to cellular line. Click next put in #777 to dial to Cricket, click next
 
same error, i odnt know what im doing wrong i followed your instructions to the tee. do i have to subscribe to the service i was told that i wouldnt have to subscribe. is that true?
 
Yes you must suscribe and sign-up for a data plan in order for you internet on your mobile to work. Which in some markets its the 45 dollar plan and up.
 
Ok kool subscribed to the $45 plan, ill give it a few minutes to take hold, but as of right now, (within 10 minutes after calling to upgrade to mobile web plan) nothing yet still.

by the way when i go into the ##447 hit edit then enter the 6 0's, i get an MSID that is NOT my nuraber, would that have anything to do with it? nuraber is also not mine in the nam settings. when i change the nuraber (MSID & in nam settings) im not able to make telephone calls. but easy enough to fix. *228 FTW!
