My sister was on birth control, then she and her hubby decided to try for kiRAB. She started to break out horribly! She gets fairly large pus filled zits around her chin and cheeks. She has never really had acne before, and her skin is corabination. My skin is horribly oily and I usually had the break outs, but now really don't. I am on depo which shouldn't affect my skin like oral birth control would.
I want her so badly to not have this issue. I am 30 and she is 27. She recently bought Proactive-hasn't used it for more than a month. we use the same face wash-but I use clinique's clarifying lotion, refining lotion, superdefense moisturizer and even better skin tone correcter. She doesn't just break out around a period either, it is all the time. She doesn't wear makeup, just powder. My face started to clear up with the above skin regiment ( and not picking so dang much).
I did give her my sodium sulfacetamide lotion to try-prescription for cystic acne, helped mine stop a few years ago and haven't had since. I also gave her a spot treatment from clinique. I am hoping she uses them daily and nightly (lotion at night, spot treatment during day).
I would love to hear if anyone else has had this issue.
