Well, this is the first time I have ever picked out paint, painted an apartment, etc. (I mean I've helped my friends paint before, but they already had the equipment/paint purchased).
Soo anyway my question is multi-parted:
1) Do I need to paint a "primer" if the walls are already white? I'd really prefer to not have to since I'm already going to be spending a lot on paint/supplies
2) Are colors usually a close match to what they look like in pictures, on the little paint chip, or neither? If neither which way do they usually come out (i.e. lighter than the paint chip or darker?)?
I'd also appreciate any tips on anything else I should know about painting. Thanks!
