Hello, so I'm considering being a Forensic Scientist, (the ones that work in labs, examine DNA, etc.) And I'm not sure how to go about getting a job in such. I know what they do, and it really interests me (And CSI has not left me delusional,=D I know what the career actually is)
But its very hard to find info about how to get qualified and to actually find a career in it.
Questions:
Does anyone know what schooling is required? I'm going to major in General Biology, is that a good start? What do I take after-wards?
What schools offer forensic programs? For the undergraduate I'm going to Oregon State. Are there any good programs also in Oregon?
Where would I start, etc.?
