Help for a water damaged palm treo pro?

Hi everyone, in march this year i bought a brand new Palm Treo Pro then a week later of owning it it went in the washing machine with my clothes lol, When i pulled it out, knew the phone didnt work, so i put it back in the box, until today i pulled it out, took the battery out and put it on the charge, once pluged in the indicater light appears red. but when i put the battery in , it goes away. The phone will not turn on but i get the indication light, Can anyone help
 
When my phone got wet I had to put a new battery in the phone.Then the phone worked like normal again but wasn't 100% as it used to be. I would recommend trying a new battery in the phone.
 
the fist thing that you should have done was to take the battery out and dry it with a blow dryer or put it on something hot. I dont think that you could return it because the damaged done to your phone was caused through water. Try bringing it to a phone repair shop, they might be able to fix it or replace it with a new motherboard/chip set.
