Help: first bike? 1996 Suzuki Katana 600

Hey All,

I am a new rider, just received my license this weekend, ready to ride!

I would like opinions on this as a first bike. I'm concerned with the engine being rebuilt so soon, I'm not sure what's typical but for a motorcycle this seems the bike was ridden hard.

1996 Suzuki Katana 600. Great Condition. Never Dropped. Yoshi Exhaust - $2500

This is a 1996 Suzuki katana that has never been dropped and comes with a Yoshimura exhaust. It has 23 thousand miles, and has had an engine rebuild within the last 13 thousand. I

1st question: Have you taken the MSF course?

For the bike, I'd be concerned about the engine rebuild as well. They probably beat the hell of the bike... I'd be very careful.

I suggest a search on the forum, we have discussed many times the topic of bikes for a new rider. If you still have questions, we'll gladly help you then.
