Help finding the name/author of a book?

I read a book a long time ago,and I'm pretty sure it was called The Garden. It was the story of the Garden of Eden from Eve's point of view, and I remember the cover had a picture of a yellow snake wrapped around a woman's leg. I can't remember the author's name, and I'd really like to track down this book. Help?
