My door lock wouldnt open occassionally, and getting in from the passenger side, and pulling on the handle, its not just pulled outward and broke inside. The door is now permanently locked. Loser car. Anyhow, what are my options now. I have a good alarm system, it has engine disable, and opens the back and side door, but Im afraid the other door might break, leaving me getting in thru windows or the back, I am broke, I just dont have the money to have a shop fix it right now. Can I pull the inner panel off myself? Can I make it so that door will lock and unlock manually, or simply leave it open, and know that my alarm will notify me if someone messes with my car until I can afford to fix it properly? If I could have it where the button could go up and down, but always be unlocked would be great, any suggestions, websites with a diamgram of the workings inside the door? Or could I damage it and make it more expensive to fix later. Oh and I cant get the button to come up or move at all, the lock wont let me turn the key either. Help
