My moped always had a lose tail light that we rigged in place with some wire.
But i think through use and over time one of the wires connecting to the tail light got rubbed over the metal so much that the rubber coating wore out and the exposed wire shorted out the battery?
It just stopped dead, and now I can turn it on. We havnt investigated further but im guessing this is what happened
Does this happen to batteries? If it did short out how would i go about repairing it? Do i just need to replace the battery, or a fuse?
Last time we got it fixed it cost $600 and im trying to find an alternative.
