Help! Diagnosis, Same Experience?

My current acne issue (for about the last 6 months) is acne that will not heal unless a small white "core" comes out - which can take weeks (or months). Mostly this is on my chin. Each spot just keeps scabbing over and won't heal. In desperation, I've messed with them until this white core comes out and then it finally heals (after I've created a dime-size patch of raw skin). If I try to leave it alone, it just won't heal.

These don't feel like the deep cysts I used to get. There isn't much depth to them - just a big scabby sore area with a little core that won't come out.

Any ideas?

Note:I'm 42 and hormonal. I use a mild cleanser and I've been using a AHA to help with cell turnover and blackheaRAB and clogged pores(on my nose and chin). The scabs tend to flake off and there is just oozy skin with a taunting core.
 
I know what you mean ,about the core thing.People on here say not too squeeze.But i find if i dont get the core plug out of the pimple it will re-infect at a future time.Or the swelling will go down the pimple will flatten out, but leave a mark behind that wont go away for yrs sometimes.Seems no matter which way you choose ,to squeeze or not to squeeze,you end up losing.Take care.:(
