I'm always cold, even in the summer. I'm very tired during the day but when it comes to falling asleep, i can be in bed by 10:30 but i don't fall asleep until around 1:30. Last year i was sick a lot with either Stomach or Head aches. I'm also very irritable and get annoyed with the littlest things.

if you have any ideas as to what you think might be my issue, i'm very interested in hearing them.

thanks,
Alexis.
:dizzy:   :o  :(

The always cold part could indicate that you have hypothyroid. Have you had a thyroid panel done? They should check TSH, Free T4, Free T3, and TPO antibodies.

The other stuff could be stress/anxiety. Difficulty sleeping and irritability can be caused by anxiety or depression. Both anxiety and depression are known side effects of hypothyroid, though, so it could all have a single cause.

It's one possibility anyway. Good luck.

Dee is right, thyroid affects your whole system in many ways. You need to get those tests done now! The full panel.
I have been having some stress and depression as a side effect of some meds I am on--it is miserable, weird sleep patterns, no appetite and more. Am in the process of geting my doasage adjusted but it's no fun!
See your PCP as soon as possible, bless you and good luck.

alexisbs95: On top of getting your thyroid checked see if you can get an appointment with an endocrinologist and get tested for estrogen dominance. Look it up. There's around 40 side effects of it and being cold, headaches and having insomnia are on the list. I've got it and I'm always cold and my thyroid is fine. Also get your adrenal glands checked to make sure you don't have adrenal fatigue.

How old are you? Are you perimenopausal? Hormones can cause alot of problems in this area as well. Let us know.
