Hi everyone,
Need assistance. There is a DELL sale going on for memorial day but only want to obtain it if its in fact "much better" then what i currently have. Not just a little better but much better. I usually play 1 game called Second Life. It's pretty decent on my current computer.
My question is will the new system make much of a difference in all aspects. Not in graphics only but overall everything multitasking. I really dont know whats the main difference then the Pentium 4 chips and Dual core. I know Duals have 2 chips but they have a lower CPU then my current P4. Will it make that much of a difference from the specs i give you ?
Current Computer:
Dell Pentium 4 3.06 Ghz
1.49 GB of RAM
Internal Graphics Card 910GL Express Graphics Chip
Windows XP
New Possible Computer:
Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E2160 (1.80GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800FSB)
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3100
2GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz - 2DIMMs
Win XP
Is this worth an upgrade???? Thank you
