HELP! Computer stuck on military time?

I asked this question and got a response >>>> "I have gone to the control panel > date & time - the time in control panel shows correctly, but in the lower right corner of the task bar it shows military time, what am I doin wrong? help!

this is the response I got -- it doesn't work - any other ideas?

Change to hh:mm:ss tt or h:mm:ss tt

That should change it to the 12 hour clock
 
right click the time in the task bar and select change time and date in there their is a setting for that.
