My friend asked me to help him choose a folding bike. He wants a cheap ($100-200) commuter that he can fold up and put in his car.
I'm a road cyclist, so I have little experience with component and frame brands. With cheap bikes, I typically pick quality used bikes over new entry level bikes. However, there are few folding bikes on craigslist in my area.
I'm looking for the best quality and reliability for the price range. The roads in my area are fairly rough, so I'm thinking steel might be better. Here's the list he gave me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
