1984 buick skylark and it was working fine a week ago, started up no problem, well its been sitting for a week and there was a huge rain storm today, well i went to start it and it just went "cheew, rmrmrmrmr," it didnt even turn the engine over once, my battery was at 11.63 volts, i put my charger on the battery and that imediatly boosted it to 12.63 volts and climbing, usualy my battery charger will boost the car, well i went to start it with the charger on and it still didnt start, so wtf? is it siezed? what would cause it to not work? could the rain have done it? isnt 12.63 volts enough to turn it over? is 11.63 volts enough? thanks
ok so it turns out it was the battery, my charger was crap and wasnt putting out enough juice, got it started now, thanks
