...Escort.? I am working on the 1994 Ford Escort LX 1.9L 4Cyl Vin:J
Successfully completed right side: replaced drive axle, outer tie rod end and lower ball joint.
I got to the drivers' side, removed the wheel>spindle nut>caliper>rotor>tie rod end>lower ball joint bolts>strut to steering knuckle bolts...but the knuckle would not budge at all off the spindle (drive axle). It came off smooth as anything from the passenger side. I've dried Liquid Wrench penetrating oil, brake cleaner and etc. on the drivers side. Ugh. I have to complete the job ! I've got to put the new drive axle on. Any methods to separate the two or search for a new steering knuckle. ?
