do you know if there's any way i can find out a book title & author. i read a book a while ago that i got out at the library and want to re-read it but can't remember. ?
also can you read this to see if its rings a bell and you know what book im on about (stab in the dark i know..)
i remember there was this girl who was rich & her dad got put in jail for fraud to do with art dealing so she moved onto a rough estate and a new school. she got bullied a bit & made friends with the quiet girl. then she met a boy called jj who lived somewhere called hamlet tower with his mum & a lot of brothers and sisters. the main girl herself had a brother i think too. can't remember her name though.
her mum didn't want her to have anything to do with him because he was from a rough place. he graffitied a picture of the girls old horse (that she had to give up) onto the railway walls that she could see from her window. her, jj & her little brother often visited an old man who told them about the war and stuff. when her dad got out of prison she moved into her grandmas house with her mum dad grandma & brother. jj was allowed to come to but he never showed up when they needed to set off & said he needed to stay with his mum. at the end of the book it was christmas and she opened her present from jj which was a scrapbook of mementos of their relationship.
