The game acts like its going to start, then it crashes and the "serious error" message pops up.
In the Zero Hour data folder, all i have is "ReleaseCrashInfo" and "ReleaseCrashInfoPrev" when i click on one of these, it gives me this - Release Crash at Sun Feb 13 01:17:09 2011

I have downloaded lots of mods in the past, so that probably has something to do with it. I've uninstalled and deleted all the ones i could find. -- Is there still hope of playing this game on my comp?
