We recently found our dream home, we contacted a realtor and made an offer on the house. It was listed as a short sale when we made the offer and needed some cosmetic work but we worked out a decent offer and the seller excepted (which I know means nothing).
I got an email from my realtor that the house may be on the brinks of foreclosure and past the short sale opportunity. Yesterday I went to the property appraiser website and saw that the previous owners were no longer the owner of recoerd that Deustche National Trust Co was now the owner and there was what appeared to be judgement details about the foreclosure.
My question is 1) shouldnt my realtor have known this was already foreclosed on? 2) Is this a losing battle now that this is so newly foreclosed and the bank does not appear to have it listed yet? 3) When is it time to get a new realtor, I have given this guy the benefit of the doubt but continue to be dissappointed with him.
