help! astronomy questions!?

Hello.
Assume the visible component of epsilon aurigae has a planet which orbits its primary at a distance 1/8th that of the unknown object. What would this planet's period of revolution be?

NGC7320 shows a recessional velocity of 790 km/s. What change in wavelength z is observed from this object? Since the velocity is small, you may ignore relativistic effects.

Also, can anyone tell me how to read a light curve? Like to see what variable it is and to find out the period? Thanks!
