Help!! Anyone know what this 80's/early 90's movie is?

As far as I can remember - it's about a woman who lets another woman into her house to live...but the woman she let in then gradually becomes besotted with her and copies her hairstyle and things like that and then eventually starts killing people who upset the other girl!!

She's like a crazy stalker...

It was a well known film in the late 80's/90's
