HELP! Anyone else using a nexus one? stuck at android boot-up screen

Received a nexus one model for testing and after resetting user data, phone will not boot. Pressing the power button gives me the skateboarding android and will not go any further. (http://designora.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/skateboard-android_icons.jpg.

Anyone else using this unreleased phone / knows how to fix this?

sorry, no.. this is a real issue I've got on my hands. I'm able to get into a HBOOT/FASTBOOT/RECOVERY menu by holding the trackball and pressing the power button.

its begging for a rom . somehow , its missing it . ive seen it with every model of android . it happens to a small percentage . there is also a way for you to get into recovery . you need to load a rom onto your sd card , rename it to update.zip , go into recovery , chose the option to update , then reboot after its finished . sign into your google account for your stuff to sync

no , thats just the dump . you need that put together into a rom with an official signature . it will be in an update.zip , .nbh , or a .img form .

So how did u happen to get a nexus 1? I thought u had 2 be a google employee, and if u are, isn't it ur job to give them feed back, return the phone and get a new 1? Shoot..... I'm looking for the nexus rom myself

okay so I think i found the nexus image. the files contained are listed in the attachment. how do i restore the phone using this file?

this is a text file listing the contents of the zip file i have. it seems like the phone is looking for a file called PASSDIAG.zip and some .nbh files

That's about the right size of a rom, but don't know for sure.
