My situation is difficult to explain, but I'll try my best.
I am in year 8, in all the top classes, and do very with my work, but only when it's independent work. When I have to work in groups I kind of, not fall apart because I remain together, but I just really dislike it. Same thing at lunch. I can't handle being around large masses of people. It's too much noise.
I also don't like talking to people, especially people I don't know. I have a total of 3 friends. In a year with 160 kids. And a school of about 1000 kids. 3. That's it. I don't like talking to anyone other than them or the teachers. It doesn't help that I am, only being in year 8, one of the tallest kids in the school (6-foot-3). People always talk to me calling me the great kali, or the big show, or andre the giant, etc. so you get the picture.
I can't stand being insulted or yelled at, with my family its fine (but rarely happens) but outside my family I break down and generally cry. And because I am in year 8 and not many teachers know anything about aspergers, not many can deal with my ''silly'' attitude. There is only one, and he's kid is an Aspie, so he knows all about it. (BTW, coolest teacher ever).
I have a few more issues, but these are the main ones. Can someone please help me!
