I am using a wireless connection from my sister's network. Neither of us know a great deal about security of these things, but we set up a pass key and a MAC address filter (where only specific MAC addresses can connect). We know no one else can connect to our network (we always check the connected devices and only see our 3 computers on it), but I am also concerned about security/privacy. Is it still possible for someone to read/steal our info? (like passwords, usernames, anything else we type like credit card/bank info, etc). And, am I correct in assuming that only people in the range of the router can do this?
help about wireless security? are we safe?
