After my fish cycle completed about 18 days ago, I was very happy and so were my glofish (not goldfish). Yesterday I did close to a 50% water change with gravel vacuum since they had a lot of poop in there. Since then the fish look weak, distressed and are not eating. Some of them are barely able to keep afloat and are "sitting" on the gravel.
I know 50% was too much and I should have stuck to 20% water changes weekly but for now, does any one have any insight on why this happened? Will this affect my cycle?
10 gallon tank
5 glofish.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks
I realized 50% was too much only after I did it for the first time yesterday and noticed it. Yes, I always use the tap water conditioner.
