Hi!!
my four week old bub has a wind problem... i had him on s-26 gold from 3 days of birth because he had a lot of wind and an upset stomach from my breastmilk... up until a few days ago he has been fine on the s-26 gold.. late last week he started to get wind again and was always seemed to be grunting and groaning and also seemed to cry from pain so i went down to the pharmacy and was recommended novalac reflux (which the pharmacist said would be fine for wind because it was pretty much the same thing as reflux well actually 2 different pharmacist from 2 different pharmacies said the same thing) so i had him on novalac for 2 days and he just kept vomitting i guess the milk was too thick it wasnt going down... and so 2 nights ago i put him back on the s-26 and he is no longer vomiting but still grunting and groaning with pain also beings his little knees up as he does this... he still opens his bowels at least once a day but seems to be in a lot of pain when he does... ive decided to keep him on the s-26 and do nothing else for a few days so he can settle with the s-26 or if he doesnt i will be taking him to the GP.. but i was wondering does anyone have any advice on what they did for their child who had wind?? and sugguestions are greatly appreciated Thanks!!
