This van overheated on the freeway. I replaced the head gaskets, front and back, manifold gaskets, valve cover gaskets and valve seals. The car turns over but backfires sometimes, it won't start. I had someone do the work so I'm not sure about the MAP sensor but it sounds like it's out of time, could the timing chain have broken? I did a compression check and that came out fine. What could be the problem? Thanks to any help you can provide.
