hi:) im a sophmore and ill be in 11th grade next year, I am taking AP Biology...I LOVE Biology!! but i was wondering will this class be a hard and a struggle..i made straight A's in regular biology freshman year. Could anyone tell me haow they felt about the class. And yes the teacher is GREAT so no worries on that part:) Thanks

I think that if you got straight A's in regular Biology in High School you'll do well in AP Biology. It will be more work and you'll have to really commit yourself but you will learn a lot even if you don't pass the AP exam. I didn't pass the AP exam but I'm in my third year of college now(double major Education and Biology) and it really gave me a building block for most of my college Biology courses. To be honest I didn't learn anything new in my 100 level courses and knew a lot of the material for some of my 200 level courses going in. Good luck and once again don't be discouraged if you don't pass the exam, it is very hard.

AP biology is awesome. You learn SO much. I thought the genetic part was really interesting...not a big fan of the Krebs cycle and ETC. It sounds like you are on the right track and will do just fine! Just make sure you study a lot during the whole year to prepare for the AP test because that is tough.
