depends really on what his personal preference is. if i were you i would get him a used 911 turbo (probably around the same price as a new boxster s) in my local newspaper there is a 07 with 12k miles for just 55k thats a great deal. A cts id newer in the market and it doesnt really have the history that a porsche has. cadillac just entered the big boy races while porsche has been in there for a long time. Both cars will last just about the same time. Yes they are extremly relable and they are both a great investment. tell him to consider a 335i or maybe a base model m3 these are also built for speed and have a great history of reliability behind them. FOr these cars the main thing to look for is now probably his taste. Porsches are generally more appealing to younger drivers while the common stereotype for cadillacs is movie stars and people over 50
