The first and the main reason for my choice that is based in Rosa Maria’s learning opportunities, is that she has had access to a lot of input and output when she spent one academic term at the University of Bristol, so that she has benefited from a “mixed environment”. The second reason is that she had access to English input and output out of the University because she also had a job as waitress, so that the input and output that she was exposed to, was not only restricted to the academic classroom. The third reason is that she has had a good attitude towards her English environment and English people because she made several friends there in England. And the fourth reason is that she has had a strong motivation to practice English because of having a love relationship with a native speaker of English.

(C) The main reason for not choosing the case 1 is that the Spanish-speaking learners Felipe and Leticia Román have not received yet the necessary input and output to attain their highest overall of L2.The main reason for not choosing the case 2 is that the Spanish-speaking learner Xavier Rosell is that he is still very young to attain the highest overall of L2.And the reason for not choosing the case 4 is that the Spanish-speaking learner Alberto Ballesteros has not received the necessary input and he also has not produced the required output in English to be the most likely to attain the highest outcome at present.

2. (A) The first aspect of the monitor hypothesis is that monitoring can “works” when we have the necessary time to correct ourselves. And the second aspect is that we can make use of our monitoring “skill” when we feel pressured to be correct. The first specific aspect of the natural order is that some specific features are naturally acquired and the second aspect is that we acquire certain features earlier than others. And the two specific aspects of the input hypothesis are that comprehensible input is necessary for acquisition and that the input must be understood.

(B) I completely agree with the monitor hypothesis and with natural order hypothesis, but I partially agree with the input hypothesis.

(C) The first example of the monitor hypothesis is that when I am producing English output, I am mentally correcting myself, and the second example is that when I am in this situation is when I have sufficient time. On the other hand, the first example of my agreement with the natural order hypothesis is that I have acquired “negation” in English with hardly effort and the second example is that I still have some difficulties, when writing/speaking in English for example, with the third person singular morpheme. Finally the first example about my partial agreement with the input hypothesis is because I think that while more input I have received, more input I have understood but I do not agree with the idea of acquiring the target language by receiving only input because I think that I have received too much English input but it has not strongly helped me so much as in acquiring English.
