Hi, I live in Houston / Galveston, TX. I recently switched from T-Mobile to Cricket and my bill went down $110 / month (woo-hoo!).....lol. I bought a blackberry 8330 from the cricket dealer since I had a blackberry with T-Mobile and loved it. Everything seemed to work fine until I plugged it into desktop manager and it updated the software. That was 2 days ago and after reading post after post after post and researching tons of info I have learned to load prl files and the service book files. Somehow the service book files disappeared after the update. As far as the prl, I loaded 1042 and it didnt work. I then tried 05143 and it did work. Although, I seem to be on the sprint network. When I dial 611, sprint comes on saying to dial my service provider direct. I can call, text, but internet does not work. I loaded the service books in the sticky post in these forums, but no good.

Is there a better prl file other than 05143 that will work for me? I appreciate any help I can get and this is my 1st post after 2 days of research and trying after trying after trying.

Try 4399 PRL and see if that works for you better and yes when You Upgrade your OS on a blackberry you will always lose service books and stuff.....Take a look in the PDA section you will find lots of information on flashing Blackberries.
 
the prl mike is talking about should work perfect.... there is tons of information on how to get the "other stuff" in the pda section, if you are looking for the wap/mms take a look there and im sure the guys here can help you get it :)
