Helio Ocean 2 with Virgin Mobile Plans?

Virgin Mobile bought Helio so now Helio is the contract side of Virgin Mobile. Almost all big carriers let their prepaid side use their contract side phones like Att, Tmobile ,Nextel and Verizon but Virgin Mobile does not.

No VM prepaid phones on the Contract side or vice versa. Sprint just bought out VM. Hopefully, there will be some changes for the better made at VM soon. Better prices/plans, more/better phones, better customer serivce. VM was doing okay without Sprint , with them they probably will do even better. Hopefully, they might consider opening up their prepaid VM side so that at least their expensive contract phones can be used with that side. It's kind of backa**wards that a Virgin Mobile phone can't be used on a Virgin Mobile plan if it is the same company even if one is prepaid and the other is not. If that is the case, they should just have kept calling it Helio.

Hopefully Sprint as the new owners will do something about it and soon.

Take care.

My dad is finally let me get a phone, but it has to be from Virgin Mobile. I want the Helio Ocean 2 so bad, but I know that you have to sign a 2 year contract from helio to get the ocean 2, but I was wondering if anyone has heard on a website or anythin else, since Virgin Mobile bought Helio, if Virgin Mobile will ever let people buy Helio phones with Virgin Mobile plans?
