yes, i did....i saw it in a theater last year....in the same theater that i saw 'hedwig and the angry inch'.....your absolutely right 'shortbus' is pretty extreme and explicit.....more than some would call it pornographic...but when you get right down to it, from my viewpoint, 'shortbus' is a film about some emotionally damaged people....who by the end of the movie are better off than what they were......'shortbus' is definetly an aquired taste, not for everyone mind you, but well worth seeing.....

Hedwig and the Angry Inch is my all time favorite movie...so amazing. Every single song on the soundtrack...oh my god, just incredible.

Has anyone seen Shortbus? It really good, another John Cameron Mitchell movie. I think it came out last year. It's very sexually explicit, but if you can get past that, it's really a great movie.

you really should....i saw this film in a theater about 6 years ago....initially i was hestitant to see it....i wasn't quite so adventurous then as i am now....but i'm glad that i'm did....'hedwig.....' was originally a broadway play that starred john cameron mitchell in the title role....he also reprises that role in the film....."the angry inch" refers to all that left of poor "hedwig" after a botched sex change operation......the music is very very good....there are two cds available...the original broadway cast version and the original motion picture version....i particularly like the song "the origin of love"....

I saw this movie years ago---I was only half paying attention but I liked what I saw. I own it on DVD maybe it's time to revisit it and really pay attention this time.
 
This is one of those movies I want to see, but don't feel like I'll actually like it. I know there are some fans of this movie here, though.

When IFC runs it again, I'll try to catch it. :nod:
 
Has anyone seen this?? I really love it and all the songs are good. Which song is your favorite?? I think mine is Midnight radio
