...Word is all 7: Law or Grace? Reference: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart". Hebrews 4.12

Word of God is:
1. quick
2. powerful
3. sharper than any twoedged sword
4. piercing to dividing asunder soul<-->spirit
5. piercing to dividing asunder joints<-->marrow
6. discerner of thoughts of the heart
7. discerner of intents of the heart
Eg of 4 seems to be in 1Cor 15:
divides asunder Adam1<-->Adam2;
can be Law vs Law or Law vs Grace,
as Law is both natural & spiritual. So it goes on to joints<-->marrow,
since as in Adam all die.
 
what is the 'word of God' ?
-- God's LAW = teachings = guidelines = however you call it.
-- the COVENANT in Christ Jesus established thru abraham - isaac - jacob.

the EFFECT of the Law ?
quick + powerful + sharper than any twoedged sword.

quick = alive
powerful = potent
sharper than any twoedged sword = it destroys, it descerns, it judges.
