My tanks temp is 90 farenheight right now. Ive put ice blocks in it, and currently have a fan on full aimed at the surface. All windows are open fan is on in house and ITS NOT COOLING DOWN!! Is there something ive missed? Itll be dark soon so it should cool but i think were in a heatwave. Is 90 dangerous for my fish?

Gotta love the Australian summer!

Its still 90 and its now pretty dark. 7 at night exactly. Im going to listen to ian and do a water change, then im going to find every bottle in the house freexe em and brace my self for the next 24 hours, Its soooooooo hot =( If my tank is 90 imagine how hot it is outside! Thanks all for the answers so far. Feel free to give me any personal home made ideas other then the ice blocks lol =)
The reason i asked this Q too guys is because 90 is out of the green bit on my themometor. Like ALOT out of it...
HEATER is obviously not on. No need in summer silly =)

have u ever thought that your heater is going crazy or the tempature is set at the tempature that happened to me once but the total opposite it got to like 60degrees farinhite and i realized the heater was set to that so u might want to look at the heater
