on the outside of the firewall under hood on the passenger side is a valve in one of the heater hoses with a metal cable that controls it-sounds like the cable is disconnected from either the valve or the actuator under the passenger side of the underdash-make sure the valve is working by having an assistant operate the temp control lever while u watch the valve under the hood
