the dakota is a 98 3.9l v6. i recently put in the stock temp. thermostatt and the truck runs at the normal operating temperature. the blower motor works fine but the heater just doesnt get hot, at an idle the truck barely blows hot air at all but the higher rpm's i get the hotter the heater gets, it also blows the warmest air when it is set 2 defrost.
