I may have a problem with the heater matrix in my car.

After I have been driving for a while & have had the heater on, I notice an oily substance appearing on the inside of the windscreen.

I thought it was tar or oil, but someone has suggested it is the heater matrix spitting out antifreeze, a sign of it becoming unservicable.

Is this correct & if so can it be repaired easily ?

I was thinking of using a product called 'K' Seal - a copper based leak stop solution that you add into the water system.

Anyone else had this sort of problem & used this solution?

Thanks.
