Heartbeat in Stomach

I'm not entirely sure what this is, I've told my parents but they think its nothing to worry about and refuse to take me to the Doctor saying that they won't give me anything.
I'm feeling a mild heartbeat in my stomach, it's just to the right of my belly button. I only started feeling it yesterday and it got a ton worse when I was in bed and it was beating much faster. I really think I should see a Doctor as I think it might be AAA but my parents just won't let me!!
btw I suffer from Hypochondriasis

Ok this is really starting to get worse now, it's not occuring as much but when it does it's a very sharp stabbing pain. And my parents just laugh at me when I tell them!

There may or may not be a real problem, however, if you have cried wolf before then that is the reason your parents are not taking you serious now.

Aside from your current problem, you need to concentrate on eleminating the hypochondria in your life.

Worry over something will only magnify the situation. Anxiety plays many tricks on the mind and body.

Learn to relax and live within your body without worry. There is a difference in worry and concern.

For the current problem, get involved in something that takes your mind off of yourself and see if the misery goes away. When involved and busy your mind will have less time to focus on any one part of your body.

Gas pains can come and go or stick around for a while, worse at times than other. Gas can become locked in a place and hurt, then release and you feel better. Try eating foods that are not gas producing and eleminate fat foods, fast food, etc. for a while and see if that helps. Also eat very small meals.

If you "stop worrying" about it for a couple days and it still is a problem, ask your parents to have it checked.

Normally I would suggest seeing a doctor, however, since you are a hypochondriac I must give second thought to that.
