heart twinges

Hi for a while now I've been getting mild heart twinges sometimes a few times a day. It seems to happen if im not doing any kind of physical activity just like sitting relaxing watching television ill get a twinge, or if im lying in bed i might get one, or at work sometimes as well, Im 24 year old male in good health, no medical conditions or history of anythin, this is starting to worry me, some pals of mine get them too, anyone any ideas?
thanks

Not sure what you mean by 'twinges', but if you're talking about a flutter or skipped beats than the previous poster is correct about caffeine and anxiety. However, I would think you'd rather be safe than sorry and a simple EKG in the doctor's office (takes only a few minutes) may tell the whole story. There are several other non-invasive tests which might be helpful also. Hopefully it's nothing serious at all. My advice would be to go let your doctor make the call on this one. Good luck!
