Heart Issues With GERD?

Does anyone else get heart associated scares with GERD? There are times where i will lay down on the best and my heart will start beating fast and hard or if i eat a lot or if i have a lot of gas. Half the time i don't know if i have a heart palp or gerd? I've had EKG's and Holter Monitors and all are fine. Is it common to get heart related stuff with gerd?
 
I think it's common to think you have heart issues with GERD because of the fullness feeling and the pain. Our bodies have a hard time distinguishing between stomach and the heart, which is why they call it "heartburn" instead of "stomacrabroadurn", right? OdRAB are since you've been tested you're find and it's just your stomach playing tricks on you. I suffered from GERD for 9 years. I remeraber times where I would double over in excruciating pain that felt like a heart attack...and it was my stomach.
 
The biggest thing recently with me is a lung type problem like i'm out of breath i think i'm getting night time gerd with a little acid going in my lungs at night is this a common thing with gerd or does it even make sense?
 
Well I know if my stomach gets distended I feel that way, but also I just had a virus recently that was exactly like that- I felt like I just wasn't getting enough air. I even went to the doctor about it. Is this something that just started? Could be a virus.
 
I was mildly think it was a virus but it has been going on for a month so not sure. Because when i got off zantac and was taking nothing it got worse when i got back on the zantac it got better.
 
hi i have acid reflux and get heart palps also get the feeling of out of breath. i also have anxiety which only makes everything worst. my doctors said im fine it just the acid reflux and for me anxiety controlling my thoughts. he told me to take prevacid seems to work most of the time.
