I hate when no one answers but sure if one feels they can't be of help that that is the best thing to do! I can't give you a good answer because my shoulders and everything else aches due to the chronic cough that I have with LPR. Seems I have read where others find shoulder blades hurting with heartburn. My shoulders and neck hurt to the point I've began wearing a pain patch as part of my wardrobe. This may come from sitting at the computer all day though! Good Luck.

I have chronic back pain including my shoulder blade area so I don't know the answer to your question. I hope someone comes along that does.

Hi there.
I have a question posted waiting for an answer too, but I just happened to see your initial question and thought I might offer something that I just came upon. I just read that when someone is having heartburn due to gallbladder problems then the area in their shoulder blade could have pain. Have you ever seen this or think maybe this could be the reason for the heartburn? I am contemplating this myself. So many things in one's stomach, it is driving me crazy!
I hope you feel better and find some relief. I hope it was okay to offer this info to you. I am not an expert by any means and am seeking answers myself because something is going on. But I just, and I mean, just read, this info about gallbladder and shoulder blade pain.
