Yesterday I had excrutiating pain between my shoulder blades which hurt more with movement. I was constantly out of breath and felt a small tug in my chest. I also felt quite delerious and light headed as if I could just drop off at any minute. The pain in my back took my breath away. Having called a helpline they advised me to get an emergency doctors appointment which I did. I explained everything to my doctor who did not listen to my heart, gave me some anti inflammatorys for a pulled muscle and sent me on my way. I haven't taken the tablets and the pain has subsided significantly over night but the tightness in my chest is still there a little. Do you think I am over reacting or should I get a second opinion? My father had 6 heart attacks and I am very much out of shape for my age. Your advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks
