Now I had just gotten my hearing test at the doctors about an hour ago and would like to know just how good my results were. I was told "30" was the average hearing result. Now I'm not sure what 30 represents, so if anyone could state what it represents to me as well that would be great. Basically the test consisted of me putting on headphones, one earphone was red while the other was blue. I had a thing where I would press a button when I heard a noise. The noises would dimmer as the test went on.
My result was -5... I was told that was good, and the less you go the better your hearing is. I guess I have above average hearing.
Just how good is this result, is it abnormal for humans to have such a result? If so, how abnormal?
