we had a house fire caused by faulty electrical that burnt roughly 50% of the dwelling and 100% smoke damage was at a 7/10 on the smoke damage severity scale. The insurance company is wanting to not even replace the drywall they are wanting to seal the home, paint and leave it at that. I am gathering documentation on information pertaining to the smoke damage, its health risks and depreciation to the home. any and ALL information will be helpful.
