I have seen a fawn around my place recently, and there is something very wrong with it. It seems unable to lift its head. I walked by it, hardly 10 feet from it, and it very slightly lifted its head, and paid little attention to me. It also moves very slowly. Its head also seems significantly wider than normal as well. My neighbor is an experienced hunter, and agrees something is very wrong with it.
What on earth is wrong with it? Should I call the fish and wildlife dept? Or just let it be? Or put it out of its misery?
