Health Problem, help!?

Ive had this problem for a year now, my throat gets really dry or sometimes full of phlegm, my tongue has white covering like phlegm like, my breath smells like bad bacterial infection. The doctor sent me to a Ear Nose and Throat, they said i have a girth. And my primary doctor prescribed me OMEPRAZOLE 20mg. Im thinking its my tonsils or something, its sucha bad thing, i always need a cough drop in my mouth. WHATS WRONG WITH ME
 
Okay so are you 100% positive they said 'girth' and not GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease )?

If your throat hurts go to a drug store and get some throat spray. This will numb it for a bit. I would go back to your Doctor and ask him again what you have.
